Resume Myths Debunked

Last week we introduced the new RochesterWorks Virtual Career Center to provide you with access to the latest job search tools online, 24 hours a day.

One of the great features of the site is access to a video library that includes past workshops from RochesterWorks Career Conferences, along with new videos created by staff addressing common questions on job search and career management.

The first post is a webcast on Resume Myths. Wondering if resumes should be just one page in length? Or if it is necessary to list your objective at the top of your resume? RochesterWorks Job Search team member Kyle McCarthy addresses some of the most common questions about resumes in this webcast.

To access the videos, visit www.rwvcc.org and click on Video Library on the top menu bar, then scroll down to view Recent Videos, or just click here.
